Privacy Policy
We don't sell your personal information.Last updated: October 12, 2026
1. Overview
This policy explains what Fan Connect collects, why, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
2. What we collect
Account: an account id and email from Sign in with Apple or Google (Apple may give us a private relay address). Birthday: used once to confirm you're 13+ and to turn on Teen Mode for ages 13–17; never shown to anyone. Fan Card: the photo, name, team, city, players, interests, scouting answer, archetype and card finish you choose to save. Activity: Shots, Drafts and Passes, chat messages with teammates, Squads and events you create or join, RSVPs and organizer check-ins, blocks and reports. Shot allowance: a count of how many free Fan-to-Fan Shots your account has used, so the 5-Shot free limit works. Purchases: Apple processes the payment; we receive only your subscription status from RevenueCat (our subscription provider) — whether Pro is active, which plan, and when it renews or ends. We never see your card details. Usage analytics (optional): counts of actions like "request sent" or "checked in" under a scrambled id, kept 180 days, never message text or exact locations; you can turn this off in Settings.
3. How we use it
To run Fan Connect: show your Fan Card, deliver Shots and messages, rank Scout IQ recommendations (from fields saved on Fan Cards, never from private messages), run events and check-ins, enforce Teen Mode and the free-plan limit, unlock Pro, keep the community safe and fix problems.
4. Who can see what
Your Fan Card is visible to adult fans in Scout unless you turn off "Show my Fan Card in Scout"; Teen Fan Cards are never shown to adults. Messages are visible only to you and the teammate you're chatting with. Organizers see who RSVPed to their events; Teen Mode fans appear only as anonymous "Teen fan" entries. Compatibility insights are calculated for the viewer only and aren't shared with the other fan.
5. Service providers
We use Rork (sign-in and hosting on Cloudflare), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions), and an AI model provider to suggest your Fan Archetype and read Starting Five searches. Providers only process data to deliver these features.
6. Retention and deletion
You can delete your account in Settings → Delete account. This removes your Fan Card, photos, Shots, messages you sent, memberships and preferences, and cancels events you host. To prevent abuse of the free plan, we keep only the number of free Shots your account used, linked to an internal account id. Analytics are already pseudonymous and expire after 180 days. Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Apple subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
7. Children
Fan Connect is not for children under 13 and blocks sign-up below that age. Teen Mode (13–17) limits contact with adults.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data. Email us and we'll help.
